He won the best Documentary for Bowling for Columbine…
watch it if you haven’t already…

Here is his acceptance speech:
Whoa. On behalf of our producers Kathleen Glynn and Michael Donovan from Canada, I’d like to thank the Academy for this. I have invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us, and we would like to… they’re here in solidarity with me because we like nonfiction. We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it’s the fictition of duct tape or fictition of orange alerts we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up. Thank you very much.

war?

it’s going to happen…

we can discuss how immoral and unjustified the war is till the cows come home, but it will happen…

and the US will “win”, whatever win means…

regardless of whether this war is justified or not, we can hope that after it concludes that the people of Iraq will be better off…

I hope that if the US does win, that they provide the medical help to Iraq that we so-called Muslims did not provide…

So what if the UN/US imposed sanctions? Did they prevent you from helping Iraq?

If countries like the US, Israel, Russia can get away with disobeying UN resolutions, then why can’t Muslim countries help Iraq’s civilian population?

All we can do is count the number who’ve died and try and convince other’s (who could care less) how this war is wrong…

I have a lot more ideas in my head, I can’t get them all orgranized to type them out…

pray for the people…

I’m planning on making a catagories thing in this blog like movable type has…

I’m just making this blog program for fun, I don’t intend for it to be used or anything.
if people do use it eventually, then that’s good,
and if they don’t then it really doesn’t matter… because the stuff I learn while building this program I can use elsewhere…
