Absolutely fabulous! Technically brilliant! and sometimes it’s even funny.
It’s just super awesome the amount of thought that went into the making of this movie. You can feel it right from the starting frames. The precision and attention to detail definitely stands out. The shots are so well designed and placed and paced. This movie could be studied in movie making classes and whatnot. I think it’s that good.
I’m sure with a second viewing of the movie folk would notice all sorts of things they missed in the first viewing.
I thought this movie was technically better than it was funny. Don’t get me wrong here, there is much funny in the movie, but I remember laughing more freely and louder while watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (the second movie).
Rating: 9.5 out of 10
i really enjoyed this movie. Saw it after Shaun of the Dead, which is similar in cinematography style. both are technically good, and.. hmm.. thinking back… yeah Hot Fuzz was not hilariously funny but you know, since when is british humor EVER hilariously funny? its still got somethin’ though.
