A good article in Arab News about Pakistan’s political situation. Written by Fatima Najm.

“But a benevolent dictatorship may be far better than a corrupt democracy. The skeptics are good for a developing society; it’s the cynics who cause problems.”

“So far Musharraf has been a man of his word. And that is what we need. What we don’t need is the international community forcing a Western-style democracy down our throats.”

good stuff… a must read…

I’m tired of the politics that our government plays. It’s sickening. Who are they serving? The public or themselves?
Why are they out to grab the credit for a job, even when it’s not yet complete. It’s not important for them to finish the job, just who “introduced” it is what matters.
It’s sick, pathetic and disgusting.
The Governments first goal should be to take care of the public and not itself…

After having written scorekeeping programs, match making programs, phone book programs, and chatting programs in Java , I returned to IBM’s Visual Age for Java IDE to do some more programming. I haven’t touched it in about a full year. I was rendered clueless. I had no idea where to begin or what to do. Stumped, bewildered, pertified, confused, dazed, discombobulated, lost… you get the meaning. So now I have to re-learn the language now. blah…

another Quote of the day:

Aysa to admi sirf life may douhi time bhagta hai, Olympic ka race ho, ya police ka case ho. Tum kahay baghta hai? Amitach Bhachan in Amir, Akbar Anthony.

My quote on the comment: hahahahhahahha, it’s hilarious. Atleast I think so. If you can translate it. Do it in the comments… hah…

Quote of the day:

Be like a duck – keep calm and unruffled on the surface, but paddle like the devil underneath. – Anonymous

My comments on the quote: I like that quote. I wonder who this Anonymous guy is, he’s got the most quotes under his name in my quotes book. Must have been really smart and wise. (I’m kidding).
